Hello, I'm Emma

A Glasgow lassie from the East End - I love the culture, the patter, the people and all the quirky chaos that comes with it. Here’s a wee bit about me…. I first discovered yoga with curiosity for movement and something to quieten a busy mind. It worked and I soon learned that yoga wasn’t just about movement, it was a mindset, a way of living that seemed sensible and aligned for me. Eventually this led me to teacher training, and I’ve now been sharing yoga with my local community for over two years. Teaching here, in my own community, is something I do very intentionally. I truly believe wellness should be available to everyone—without the stereotypes or fancy words, just real, accessible practices where people can show up exactly as they are.

Like most of us, life changed massively in 2020 and for the first time I really understood what people meant when they talked about mental health. We welcomed our wee yin, Jack, into a world that suddenly felt scary and uncertain. Almost overnight, everything changed—my support system was stripped away, and we were making some of our first family memories with others through the window. Scott and I were navigating being parents, baby blues and all that this brings alongside, loss, and health scares in the family. I struggled, and if I’m honest, there were times I questioned my ability to cope. This was new territory that I hadn't experienced before and I lived in my head a lot of the time processing mum guilt and worrying everyday how I would navigate our future. Then I found cold water therapy. What might seem like a trend to some became something deeply personal for me. When you’re in cold water, the noise just… stops. Your thoughts dissolve, and over time, I re-discovered what it felt like to be safe in a quiet mind. As the colder months crept in, I kept going literally up to my neck in thick ice —and slowly, my resilience came back stronger than before - she was back!

If I could give you just one piece of encouragement it would be this.... Take back control of your happiness in a world that is relentless. You can choose to get better or bitter. Today I choose to greet people with a smile, look for the all the positives and create my own magic. In January 2026 I made the decision to walk away from my from my 15 year career in corporate 9-5 life to start nurturing this deep-rooted passion for helping others face life a little easier, wither its weekly Yoga, Wellness Events, Gong Sound Therapy or just a chat. I hosted my first yoga class in Baillieston in February 2024, and I’ve been teaching ever since. What started as one weekly class has steadily grown into five, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for. From the very beginning, my focus has been on creating a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and accessible to everyone. The community that has formed around these classes is something I truly value — it’s kind, encouraging, and built on trust. Some yogis who came to that very first class in 2024 are still showing up each week, and that means a lot to me. Being part of someone’s routine, and supporting their practice over time, is something I really love. There's a saying that goes "always the student, never the expert". I love expanding my learning on everything i'm passionate about, I have some really cool training lined up this year to be able to enhance my classes and I recently graduated as a Gong Practitioner. Sound therapy is a powerful tool that I use in my personal practice and I now bring this to our community too. If you see me around, geez a wave. I’m usually wearing something bright, sporting a randomly placed tattoo and daydreaming. I’ve never really fit neatly into a box, and I’m more than alright with that. Perfection’s an illusion anyway—authenticity is where the real magic is. I’m the epitome of a Pisces lass: a big feeler, intuition always switched on, and a wee bit obsessed with the Moon.

Whatever brought you here — stress, curiosity, a recommendation from a friend, or just something telling you it's time to do something for yourself — you are in the right place. Much love, See you soon, Emma ☮️🧡
