The Practice

Yoga that works for you

Whether you've never rolled out a mat before or you've been practising for years, there's a class here for you. Emma's teaching style is warm, clear and genuinely encouraging — no pressure, no judgement, just you and your practice.

All classes are held at St Bridget's Church Hall, Baillieston — a welcoming, accessible community venue in Glasgow's East End with easy public transport links and parking nearby.

Mats and props are provided. Just wear something comfortable you can move in and bring a water bottle.

First time?

What to expect at your first class

Arriving to your first yoga class can feel daunting — but at East End Yogi, you'll be welcomed from the moment you walk in. Emma takes time before every class to check in with new students.

Just show up. The rest takes care of itself.

  • Arrive 5–10 mins early so Emma can say hello
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in — nothing special needed
  • Water bottle recommended
  • Mats, blocks and straps all provided free
  • Let Emma know about any injuries before class
  • No experience needed — ever, at any level
